Progressive Muscle Relaxation of the Hypnotic Induction Process

Hypnotists often use their favorite hypnotic scripts, mostly in the form of progressive muscle relaxation. Here’s the common progressive muscle relaxation process:

You are about to experience an interactive experience, and I want you to use your vivid imagination in a very positive way to help yourself achieve the results you desire. Now close your eyes and relax. Imagine your muscles relax, take a deep breath, good, now exhale, take another deep breath. From now on, every time you breathe in, imagine fresh air entering your chest, and every time you exhale, your breath is flowing out of your chest, and your body is filled with a sense of relaxation. You can still feel that relaxation while I’m talking to you. Relax your scalp, forehead, eyebrows, eyelids, cheeks, nose and mouth.

Especially the muscles around the mouth and lips, relax. Make sure your teeth are not clenched together, just relaxed. Relax your jaw, relax all the muscles of your face, now relax your neck, relax the front of your neck, relax the back of your neck. It feels good to relax your shoulders until they are completely relaxed, removing any tension or stress from the shoulders. Now, follow with your arms, your upper arms, elbows, and forearms. Relax your wrists, your palms. Your fingers are relaxed. Imagine your arms and hands getting heavy, limp and limp. Heavy, fluffy and limp, like a ball of wet, freshly washed clothes. Allow yourself to breathe freely and notice that your breath is deeper and more regular than when we first started. Feel your breath, feel the rhythm of your breath. Notice the contraction and expansion of your diaphragm and your chest. Notice the contraction and expansion of your diaphragm and your chest.

All the muscles in your chest are relaxed, all the way down to your abdomen. Feel the muscles in your abdomen relax and remove some of the tension that might be there. Let your back muscles relax as well, all the way down your spine, all the way down your waist, relax. Relax completely. It also relaxes the tiny muscles in your back. Your hips follow, then your legs, your thighs, your knees, your calves, your ankles, the balls of your feet, and your toes. Let these muscles all relax and you enter a deeper, more relaxed state. Let yourself relax, let your body and mind come together, feel good, now you feel great. Many people experience some physical sensations, including tingling in their hands and feet, tingling in their hands or arms, and tingling in their hands or arms.

Some people will feel light, some people will feel heavy, if you experience light, then, it’s like you’re floating over a chair; If you experience weight gain, you’ll feel like you’re sinking into your chair and your shoulders will collapse. It’s Okay for some people to feel a rise in saliva production after they relax. When some people are relaxed completely, can feel eyeball also is loosened inside eye socket, at this moment eyelid may quiver gently or beat, this also is put down, loosen good phenomenon. Some people experience distortion of the senses or separation of the limbs, like the hand running to the foot, or the foot running to the hand. Again, this is a good sign that you are letting go and relaxing. These physical signs have important meaning: if you experience them, it means, “you are willing and ready to put yourself into hypnosis!”
